Bonnie Harken leads the consulting services of Nautilus International Development Consulting. She specializes in combining profitable real estate development with high quality urban design. Clients benefit from the multi-dimensional perspective Harken brings to projects and from her skill in solving complex urban problems.
Harken’s 25 years of experience have helped shape many successful, award-winning developments on urban waterfronts, ranging from Battery Park City to West Harlem in New York and the GM Global Headquarters in Detroit. She consults for private developers, agencies, and corporations about strategies for planning and implementing successful uses on their waterfront properties, and has created development plans for sites as large as the 4,000-acre GM Milford Proving Ground.
Harken is a registered architect in New York State. She studied environmental design at the Parsons School of Design and real estate finance at New York University, and holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University.
